We deliberately say "assisted"; To call these biking adventure tours "guided" would not do them justice. They are organised, individual tours, of eight days in duration with support! The only decision is when you want to take your adventure! Prepare for a dramatic experience, the hidden side of Portugal awaits you!

8 days/ 7 nights/ 6 Days riding:   1500kms   2050 Euros

The Portugal tour offers a wide perspective of southern Spain and Portugal, a seaside and inland combination. Enabling visits to the main Andalucian and Portuguese cities and historic points of interest using ancient roads and routes. From both the Mediterranean and Atlantic coast to the mountainous interior. The itinerary includes all the most famous cities: Malaga, Cadiz, Faro, Lisbon, Sevilla.

We offer a mixed and varied package, 4 star hotels, Paradors, gastronomic restaurants and surprising, little known places to visit, maximising the abilities of the XT660Z Ténéré.

Day 1: Malaga
Arrival on Friday, we pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel. Later a briefing and familiarization with the bikes and then dinner.

Day 2: Malaga - Marbella - Tarifa - Cadiz  240km
Passing from the Costa del Sol to the Costa de la Luz and from the Mediterranean sea to the Atlantic sea, you will experience an amazing trip with the sea as your companion throughout the day.
Day 3: Cadiz – Faro 270km
You will experience the contrast between Southern Spain and the South of Portugal, different countryside, colors, ambiance and culture. Of course you'll also enjoy your ride!

Day 4: Faro- Lisbon 250kms
A day following the coastline, our route takes us West along gently winding roads and spectacular cliff-top paths with exciting and invigorating views of the Atlantic sea to our destination in Lisbon.

Day 5: Lisbon- Ferreria do Alentejo 250kms
On leaving Lisbon we will travel through Estoril and Cascais, reaching Europe's most Westerly point, a mecca for wind and kite surfers, before turning inland above Lisbon and heading for the heart of Portugal via beautiful mountain roads.

Day 6: Ferreria do Alentejo- Sevilla 300kms
We will follow the border between Spain and Portugal through spectacular scenery, villages and countryside to return in the biggest Andalusian town, Sevilla.

Day 7: Sevilla - Malaga 210km
From the inland back to the coast passing through sparsley populated areas in the mountains, variety is the keyword on this last day.

Day8: The following morning we will take you to Malaga airport for your departure.

All Portugese tours include:

-- Accommodation in 3* and 4* hotels, in a twin room.
-- Breakfasts, Meals, dinners on route.
-- Mineral water with meals and when riding.
-- 1 experienced guide - mechanical companion for each group of 4 or more.
-- For more than 5 days routes an extra vehicle for the baggage.
-- Maps and souvenir(s) of the trip.
-- Rain equipment.
-- Transfers from and to airport on arrival and departure to/ from airport and operations base.
-- Gasoline (1 tank).

Not included:
-- Flights from and to home city.
-- Mandatory Personal Accident Insurance.
-- Insurance cancellation.
-- Mandatory bond 900 Euros, retained by credit card
-- Beverages with meals, entrance fees to museums and personal expenses.
-- Optional: - Renting of equipment, boots, trousers, etc.
-- Possible traffic fines.
-- Extra charges for pillion or companion 1190 Euros.
-- Gasoline after the 1st tank.

Please note: A deposit of 50% is due at the time of booking, the balance being due six weeks prior to the calendar date of your tour.
All Virtuoso moto guided Portugese tours are bespoke for your group and therefore at least 30 days preparation is undertaken, to ensure the maximum enjoyment is delivered on your individual tour.
Virtuoso Moto Tours invite you to propose the dates that are preferable for your group of four or more riders.
A deposit of 900 euros will be taken on your card at the commencement of the tour and returned subject to non-damage of your bike.
