OFF ROAD TRAINING

Loco for Motos specialises in off-road instruction in Morocco and Spain.
Enduro, Rallye Raid and Enduro Extreme are all catered for. But it's not all about extreme riding or competition preparation. We can also help novice off-road riders to gain 1st time off-road experience & confidence.
(We can also help with round the world tour preparation)!

We also offer three levels of certificated training for groups or individuals on a one-on-one basis:

COURSES:

Off-Bronze: From first time off-road to a level of general competence on the dirt.
Three days, price 225 euros per day our bike, 150 euros per day your bike. Trainer Tim Skilton

Off-Silver: A continuation of the training in Bronze to attain more specific skills.
Three days, price 225 euros per day our bike, 150 euros per day your bike. Trainer Tim Skilton

Off-Gold:Training to competition level and beyond. Bespoke to your needs and requirements.
Two day sessions (intensive) Trainers Kari & Graham (to give an idea this training is intensive and is costed at 1000 euros per day. Divide by the size of group, up to and including four riders. You will not be able to ride more than two days at this intensity.)

New in 2010, Loco for Motos offers a mini-raid experience.
We will have five KTM Rallye-spec bikes and prepared roadbooks for you to use.

How does it work?
We collect you and your rallye-raid buddies from the airport.
We go to our base and familiarise ourselves with the KTM rallye bikes and the navigation equipment.
Rest of the day at leisure in Marrakech.
The following morning we leave for two days riding to Zagora, using GPS routes.
Once in Zagora we will use competition road books to complete three days of mini-rallye and navigation instruction.
We will then return to Marrakech over a different route using GPS again.

Total tour duration, nine days, eight nights, seven days riding.
This is a tour for prospective rallye-raid riders and the level of riding skill required is HIGH!

Navigation Courses:
Learn the skills, take the practical test, ride with confidence.
We use standard Dakar Organisation road book symbols for our road book training.
If in Morocco, we use our own and ex-competition road books for the practical training on previously used rallye raid routes.

Kari Tiainen enduro training
Ride better with Kari Tiainen, seven times world enduro champion, the man who justifiably carries the title "The King of Enduro"
Responsible for the scouting and training of current stars such as Juha Salminen and Marko Tarkkala, you can be sure the information you receive is correct when it comes to enduro training!
But it's not all about the training! Listen to countless anecdotes and stories throughout your riding time with Kari, from Paris-Dakar scrapes to world enduro championship japes!
Kari is currently responsible for the development of the new BMW enduro bike, the management of the BMW enduro WEC team and the training of the BMW team riders.
Let us arrange a day or days, either as part of your tour or as a stand alone experience, with Kari. You'll never be the king, but maybe you can become an enduro prince!
