Yamaha Europe, realised that they had revived the success story of the original Tenere with the release of the 2008 model. Coupled with the obvious success of BMW and KTM's adventure tour programs, led them to authorise the creation of 'Tenere Spirit', Yamaha Europe's adventure tour program.
Loco for Motos (Virtuoso Moto Tours) have been chosen to represent Yamaha under this "powered by Yamaha" banner to provide tours in Spain, Portugal and Morocco on the 2008 660Z Tenere and the 2008 WR250R.

Through the Tenere Spirit Yamaha adventure site, in Spain, Portugal and Morocco with Tenere and WR tours, Loco for Motos will be running the tours in Spain from October 2008 to April 2009 and Morocco (based in Marrakech) commencing May 2009 and Portugal (based in Faro) commencing January 2009. We look forward to welcoming you in Spain, Portugal or Morocco, first as guests and subsequently, we hope, as friends to ride the amazing Yamaha Tenere 660Z or the Yamaha WR250R.

Tour Bookings and availability:

Tours on the Tenere's and WR's are available to book on the Tenere Spirit web site; www.tenerespirit.com and can also be accessed from the official Yamaha site www.yamaha-motor-europe.com.

These tours can also be booked direct with us here from the site, just mail us your enquiry!

The prices are the same for all tours, whether you make your reservation direct with us or through Yamaha's adventure tour programme.

The only variable is that if booked directly from this site we can offer mixed riding with other manufacturer's bikes as well as the Yamaha's, if you book through Yamaha the tour will be exclusively Yamaha, whether Tenere or WR.

Minimum number for any Loco for Motos Adventure tour is four riders, however, we regularly form groups from individuals or pairs, dont be scared if your on your own, we'll fit you in!
